4Music to become E4 Extra

I think that daytime schedule will be left untouched basically on both channels; removing your usual (relatively highly rated) repeats from E4, would be the TV equivalent to a súicide

The listings for Wednesday 29th that are now on tvguide.co.uk show that the 4Music block will be 7-9am. Extra shows from 9am, but from 12pm it's the same as what 4Music currently shows now, then from 9pm they're showing The Inbetweeners Movie followed by two main episodes.

07:00am: Only The Biggest Hits
07:15am: VOTW
07:20am: The Pop Squad
09:00am: Sabrina the Teenage Witch
09:30am: Sabrina the Teenage Witch
10:00am: Charmed
11:00am: Charmed

The listings are on the Box Hits slot (which still uses the older SmashHits logo), so as some suggested, it's likely they're just moving the 4Music EPG slot to the music section and using Box Hits' slot for E4 Extra

I kind of had thought they were planning on moving the shows immediately to E4 Extra, but if you're saying it's typically just what 4Music is showing now, then I assume it'll be a process of moving them over. Unless E4 will still sort of remain as a reality and unscripted channel, just with more repeats of the former than the latter.

Probably we're better not expecting any change to the daytime, not even in the near future.

If everything's left like it is, it means it relatively rates well with the audience
