If the 1/6/10 end up simulcast on BBC World regularly I wouldn't be surprised if references to the time they air being cut back, though of course using "lunchtime"/"teatime" etc. doesn't help that either.

There isn't really any need for a simulcast at those times, so it's the perfect opportunity for the 'new BBC-NC' to concentrate on international news, as the 'domestic flavoured' version would be on BBC One.

All UK viewers have access to both channels, so they can go for the international option if they wish, or BBC One for more domestic focus.

Not sure the demand is there for it and the BBC are not going to want to compete with themselves.  I suspect opt outs will be very limited too so continuing to do so for the BBC1 bulletins, along with Breakfast, will add to those hours with absolutely no additional effort. Elements of Breakfast and the One are also signed, which I suspect will continue.
