does anyone know what the director is doing with the keyboard? as in when she hits that key, is it to cue up the next camera shot? or to cycle through the items /shots in the running order/list?
Depends which key the director is pressing! But usually it’s Take Next and triggers whatever is next in the sequence to run. However the keyboard and touchscreen can be used to manually trigger all mannar of things on the fly. It can also drop or skip events, un-drop things (ie put events back in the order that have been previously dropped) and so on.
is that purely camera shots? or also to play VT /pull up titles/graphics?
The mosart automation system triggers everything.
