There were examples of the cross promotion on YouTube before now. Essentially it was the BBC1 clock and the announcer says, ‘the following programme is also being shown on BBC2 and ITV. This is BBC1, it’s nine o’clock’, before cutting to the broadcast itself.

Yes, and normally the duty Thames or LWT announcer would say to the whole ITV Network, 'the following programme is also being shown by the BBC'.....
