Off brand end boards

not an off brand endboard but i never understood why LWT was always "An LWT Production for ITV", when it should have been "A LWT Production for ITV"

"An" does not always appear before a word beginning with a vowel. Likewise "a" does not always appear before a word beginning with a consonant..

But in any event "A LWT Production..." sounds horrible compared to "An LWT Production", would you concur?
