Perhaps people within the BBC realise that the rebranding is awful and is no better than the mocks produced on this and the blue place by enthusiastic yet still-learning teenyboppers.
That might be the real reason for the drip feed of changes.
(99.9% it's not that reason though, I'd be willing to put the mortgage on).
