Always makes me laugh when you see these triumphant "[whatever number] of people watched my first show!" announcements.

Of course they did - it's brand new - people are naturally curious and will tune in to see what it's like.

I watched the start of Piers' show last night to have a gander at the set and the graphics and then thought 'yep, it's pretty much what I thought it would be' and put something decent on instead.

Tell me six months into your show what your ratings are like and then I'll care.

Piers has always been like that, he used to regularly tweet about GMB getting close to BBC Breakfast all the day or that Life Stories did well but not putting into context. He poked fun at Dan Walker joining Channel 5 even though Channel 5 has a much higher reach than TalkTV ever will.
