I doubt it, however should this have been as a result of the Sat Operator taking action (SES Astra), then communicating with the satellite isn't just a case of clicking a button on a computer. So the pattern of SD dropping first, followed by HD makes sense in that they have to communicate with the satellite to do so.
Being picky - wouldn’t they just have removed it from from the multiplex before it was uplinked to the satellite? Might not have needed any change on the satellite itself.
