The ITV Regional news will commence at 6pm as usual. I doubt very much whether is the need for an extra update, The BBC stopped doing that eons ago.
I do know there will be a set refresh although the VR will remain. The ITV newsroom hasn't even begun to move to the basement yet. That process alone will take months and there are unfortunately no plans for a Newsroom set. A Static camera point at most.
This set refresh. Will this just be for the extended 6:30 programme or for all ITV News and will it include new opening titles, updated music etc?
