To be honest if you're that interested in some archive TV narrative material you wouldn't wait for some TV channel somewhere to start airing it, you'd have bought the DVD(s) for them by now. Anything mainstream/popular enough at the time/still available is almost certainly out on home media, and if it isn't, its probably on YouTube as an off-air recording.
This has the effect of reducing channels to airing stuff that's very unlikely if ever to get a DVD release in their original form.
