Pre-Launch BBC News: Studio B Refit

While it is quite a bit away, I am very excited to see what will happen with Studio B, and how the BBC will change the visual approach to the national bulletins.

The timeline of "spring" is an interesting one. Spring for the new studio. Spring for the new logo to be used on BBC News. Coupled with changes in personnel- Sopel gone from Washington, Laura K looking likely to be gone from Westminster. Even the talk of Huw moving away from the 10.

I have a feeling that the change we'll see in Spring will be akin to the May 1999 reshuffle to a degree. Full on changes across the three bulletins as well as a new look, style, feel (?) to BBC News on BBC One.

I bet that David Lowe's pips and the red/white colours will stay
