I'm certainly not going to miss either if they don't return. Not only was it always an odd choice for them to ditch the BBC News brand for two entirely generic programme titles, but neither were presentationally interesting either.
Yeah, the music was nice, but nothing special - which is more than can be said for the titles and graphics.
They were both basically just attempts to try and make rolling news more appointment-to-view, which, of course, misunderstands the entire purpose of a rolling news channel. There were a few bespoke segments - such as the around the regions bit on Afternoon Live - but mostly they were just rebadged standard BBC News channel fare, albeit ditching the BBC News name for some unclear reason.
