Jack Taylor rightly getting criticised and now removed his Twitter account after asking people to send him footage despite widespread requests, reported by Sky News themselves, for people not to share footage of the incident.

Did this person freelance for Sky? It’s not totally uncommon for journalists to try and find footage as sometimes it will be used in a report. I guess he went about it in the wrong way asking publicly!

He was asking for DMs and for people to send it to a Sky News email address. It's all about context though - the police, local MPs, local news organisations and others were strongly asking people not to share footage last night, something which Sky News themselves tweeted or retweeted, so it was going against the official advice of the time to ask for such footage.
