Oh, to Piers, he was the show and therefore any success the show had was entirely his doing. Referring to GMB as 'my own show' during his strop with Alex on his last programme is proof enough that he saw the programme as The Piers Morgan Show and not Good Morning Britain.
On Twitter, he's very good at cherry-picking certain viewing figures which back up his point, ignoring other figures which don't, employing unfair comparisons, and using very creative wording to make things appear to skew his way. He'll isolate the lowest rated part of an edition of BBC Breakfast at 6am on a Bank Holiday when nobody's up early to watch TV and then compare that to the best ratings he ever got at 8am on a normal working day on GMB and present it as like-for-like to gloat that his figures were better than the BBC's. :roll:
