I think one of my biggest criticisms of the pres is the lack of movement or change in the lower thirds. “GB NEWS NATIONWIDE” for example doesn’t update to show particular stories or even regions.
Thing is what the reporters are often talking about is 'a guy in a pub said', 'I spoke to and he/she said this', 'I heard this from so and so'. It's the equivalent of classroom gossip.
The Ipswich cross has just featured a pre-recorded interview clip of a guest AND some B roll which is progress at least.
