Not sure if I'll surface anywhere else but it has been good reading up various threads on here and the old blue place too.
I've said my thanks already, but I won't leave here without saying good night, as by the time I wake up this will be shut down.

I guess it's time to sign off from here for the final time.
Rob, you just take care of yourself, and best wishes. Just do everything you enjoy best in the future, you are a talented guy.
This ragtag bunch of weird TV Pres geeks will coalesce somewhere on the interweb. I just hope that one day you can get a message to us to let us know that you are OK.
Bye.
"Well, this is the end, beautiful friends. After more than 11 years, this is Toonami's final broadcast. It's been a lot of fun, and we'd like to thank each and every one of you who made this journey with us. Toonami wouldn't have been anything without you. Hopefully, we've left you with some good memories. So, until we meet again, stay gold. Bang."

T-6 HOURS
In all of my years I've been both loyal to TV Forum and TV Live Forum, It's been fun and amazing, and at times turbulent. I may not have accomplished a lot, but I certainly enjoy checking out the latest TV news and airing my views about it, while being amazed by the mocks on the forum; what a journey it was!
To Rob, I say this, best of luck for the future, and take care of yourself; TV Live continues to grow and change, and I'll certainly be happy to see it continue to thrive!
And to the users who've supported me throughout the years, Thanks so much! Hopefully, I'll consider whether to continue my journey on TV Talk Forum, since that looks very promising on balance.
So yeah, in the words of Truman Burbank, in case I don't see you... good afternoon, good evening, and good night.
Everyone's favourite BBC fanatic-of-sorts, making columns blow up since April 2020
After 200 posts on TV Live Forum, I would like to thank Rob for making this forum as the worthy successor to the sadly-departed TV Forum and I will miss it very much.
With that said, I'm considering on whether or not I should continue on any of the forums mentioned on here (there's Digital Spy but I'm unsure about continuing there after today), but I'll still be active on Rangerboard and the Anime Superhero forum.
This officially marks my very last post on TV Live Forum.
So, goodbye and good luck from Mateus.
Thank-you for keeping this alive for as long as you did!
Though I don't know any of the specifics, it's shocking that you were given a hard time running a site on as seemingly an innocuous subject as TV presentation. Shows you that no matter how long I live I still don't understand people!
Best wishes for the future and hopefully 12:00 today will bring some relief.
As we approach the final few hours of TV Live Forum, it's time for me to sign off as well.
Firstly, thank you Rob for not only creating the natural successor to TVF but for all the work you've put in over the last year and a half from an administration POV. While it's sad that this forum is closing far, far earlier than anyone could have imagined it would, I genuinely hope that its closure will (over time) lift the heavy burden that it's placed on your mental health. Wish you nothing but ongoing success for both TV Live and your radio program.
Special thanks as well to the moderators for their efforts in keeping things under control (particularly during busy periods). Hope all of you will now have a chance to have a breather as well.
As for everyone else, it's been a pleasure to not only read all of your insights and perspectives but to have also contributed from time to time. As someone who doesn't work in the media industry but is yet fascinated by it (and as such, follows it closely), you learn so much being in an environment where others who have expert knowledge/experience feel they can share that with others and TV Live Forum definitely fostered such an environment. For that, thanks to each and every one of you who has made a positive contribution to that.
Due to the number of newly-created forums that are positioning themselves as the 'successor' to TVLF (and the splintering of members/discussion that has already caused), think the best thing for me to do is to let the dust settle a bit and wait and see which one/s (if any) is the best place to go to after today. In the meantime, I occasionally contribute to several other places so you might see me pop up here or there. If not, hope our paths can eventually cross again one day.
All that's left for me to do is to bid everyone not farewell but rather goodbye for now and to (as others have done) allow one of my favourite closedowns to take me out:

Thank You for providing a great forum. It is wrong you have faced abuse. You have kept us all together after TV Forum.
All the very best.

It may be the end of this site, but I'll let you know, that even if I might have not been that common, it was still fun while this site lasted and while TV-Forum lasted, I may not see you guys if I don't get reminded of a possible successor to this site, but I hope this possible successor lasts long, as long as I do find it, if not remind me.
But until then, this is The TV-Fan on TV-Live, signing off with Alice Faye's You'll Never Know, the exact song that played out during Carlton Cinema's farewell montage. Goodnight and goodbye, from TV-Live Forum

In last few hours of TV Live Forum, I would like to add my thanks to Rob and the team for all the hard work you have done ove the last year and a half. Thank you for providing a great successor to TV Forum. All the best for the future.
One last message just to say a final thank you to Rob for his work with the forum, and providing us this place to go to continue our discussion. To those users who won’t be signing up to any of the replacements, I wish you all the best for your future. See you around.
Thank you for providing such a great forum for TV Enthusiasts alike, Hopefully Pres Cafe can provide a nice home continuing on, Thank you Rob!

Just want to say my last message on this forum ever.
It has been a pleasure to be one of many members to join this forum on 29th March 2021, and one of the first 20 members to join too. (not counting the ones who joined early during development on 9th March 2021)
I enjoyed making a bunch of mocks and recreations over the past year and a bit, and even enjoyed discussing the rebrand that I love the most, The BBC Rebrand (Project Chameleon) This forum has been a blast for me, and I wish this stayed open, but just for Rob, the owner of the forum, mental health comes first, and I hope you get a really nice break from all the harm Rob.
But for everyone out there who will miss the forum so much. This is goodbye.
This is TV Guy signing off.
Cue the National Anthem.
Rob - thanks so much for providing some continuity when TV Forum closed. I've really appreciated your efforts in running TVLF, and I've participated in some great threads and gleaned a great amount of insight from some of the other members here.
I'd expect a bit of technical-related stress from running a site like this, so it's really disappointing to hear that you've faced personal abuse and that's the driver behind you shutting up shop. It's clearly the right decision for you, but a crying shame that a small number have spoiled it for the rest of us. Best wishes to you, and no doubt see you on the internet.

So today's the day then. Rob and the mods have probably had their backs slapped enough so just a big thankyou to everyone who has contributed here over the last 18 months.
