This looks like it could be a respectable new home, if enough people make the jump.

Introducing TV Talk Forum
A little bit of exciting news already and we haven’t even properly begun! The teams behind Box Forum and TV Talk have agreed to work together to bring you TV Talk Forum. Chris & Peter will be administering the site together with Allan and Nancer. As a team we are super excited to allow you all to continue your television presentation discussion journey with us. You’ll now find https://www.tvtalkforum.co.uk/ has gone live. Box Forum - When heading to Box Forum you’ll simply be redirected. If you signed up to Box Forum, everything stays the same and your login details will work above. TV Talk - If you signed up for TV Talk, you’ll need to register on the new site. Whilst it’s obvious that some users will become fractured and find new places to visit, our aim is simple – to provide a continuity of service, to allow all users to continue their discussions, in a safe and moderated way. We would also encourage others who have already or intend to launch new forums as replacements to get in touch with us, as we would love to welcome you on board. We hope that you #joinus #tvtalkforum The TV Talk Forum Team

This is great news.
Two potential forum holders have combined to create one main forum; more of this will ensure that the majority of members here head to the same place. The branding looks phenomenal, you're ensuring we don't lose features, and lastly we are continuing our long-standing traditional forum presence instead of moving to other hosts. Thank you for this merger. Ensuring everyone keeps on the same page may be the only way we'll effectively find a replacement. I hope TV Talk Forum becomes that place.

Hi all...
Obviously with this site now closing earlier than originally announced, we had to accelerate our plans considerably. This meant our original transition plan went out of the window as there was no longer time to do a number of things we wanted to do. There was also insufficient time for us to effectively discuss our proposed alternative nor for a clear replacement to be named successor, or to gauge where most of us would end up. Therefore, I am pleased to say that we have managed to message the most recent users with a short courteous message. For the very small number of you that took umbrage to getting a PM from us, we wholeheartedly apologise - we were just making sure you had the direct link to get bookmarked. Whether you end up with us ( https://www.tvtalkforum.co.uk) or at the Pres.Cafe, as long as there is civilised and friendly discussion - we look forward to both! We obviously thank Rob for his efforts and wish him the best for the future. This will be my final post here, farewell TV Live Forum. Looking forward to seeing you on the other side. Kind regards Chris

You need not have bothered messaging me. I'd already posted in this thread that I'd registered there. As you know, since you quoted my post.

I got the PM after already registering over there, but I wasn't annoyed by it - I just closed it and forgot about it. Can see why it might not have been everyone's cup of tea though.

This forum seems more relaxed in tone and down to earth, I'd go to this one if I was going to join a new place.

The bright blue is a bit much don't you think? My eyes couldn't take too much of that

What's wrong with blue? TV Forum was blue.
