The EBU has announced that the show will be co-produced by the producers of the ill-fated American Song Contest, Voxovation (led by Björkman, Melzig & co.). However, it looks like they're planning to stick with the original format unlike attempting to Americanise it (like they did with the ASC).

I want also to add a matter of fact that participating broadcaster RTVE was planning to do an Hispanic Eurovision-like contest with Latin American PSBs, whose first edition would take place next year in Cartagena, Colombia; however, there has been no additional information to date.

Time will tell if they can make it work, although with different countries rather than just states it might work.

Presumably it would be hosted in Spanish, with a bit of Portguese.

The American version just didn't work for me. K literally gave up after week one. Too many ad breaks and the production was all wrong - there was no charm to it, it all felt too in-your-face and clinical.

New details on Latinovision... RTVE and the EBU/Voxovation consortium are going into talks to merge the Spanish PSB's project (Hispavisión) into the formal Eurovision Latin America plan. The plans might mean RTVE could be the host broadcaster of the event and help the Björkman/Melzig team to work on the project. EBU's Deputy Official Mr. Jean Philip De Tender and ASC's Executive Producers Christer Björkman, Peter Settman and Greg Lipstone will attend the meeting at the Prado del Rey Studios (RTVE's HQ), which will be led by representatives from the broadcaster.

Back to the one and only... 16 cities are in line for a possible UK hosting. The latest are Bristol and Newcastle.

And speaking about Noa Kirel... she hasn't been confirmed as the Israeli representative. However, in an interview with Radio Tel Aviv, she has announced negotiations with her managers are well underway.

It depends on what the BBC prefer.
Glastonbury no doubt involves much more deciding instantly what shots need to be where, while Eurovision camerawork is planned carefully. One of the issues delegations have had in the past is the host broadcaster being unable to provide the camera shot that was proposed by the delegation at the precise moment they wanted it.

Am I right in thinking that the popularity of CuePilot is not only due to the consistency, but also because of many countries struggling to do fast pacing in music shows?

Hopefully that fast paced nature (which UK broadcasting is good at in general) can be done well at Eurovision next year - with plenty of steadicams for good measure!

The BBC really do have the opportunity to show Europe that they’ve mastered live music. I expect that this really will be the year that the UK truly does try in Eurovision - even if maybe the song is safe…

Confirmed that the UK will host the Eurovision Song Contest in 2023.

I'm sad for Ukraine that it couldn't host the contest but it would be a big security risk if it did Putin would probably of orders his army to blow the venue up while it was going on.
Will the show have UK presenters or will Ukraine hosts be flown in.

I think they have both Ukrainian and British Hosts. Maybe two of each?
