Well it's started, sort of!   The last couple of nights during Wootton, amongst the promos and ad has been played.   Just one, for Pets at Home.
Pets at home are advertising on Gb news radio btw
I gave GB News another go yesterday during the news events and for a channel that was not originally billed as “rolling news” they handle breaking news very well and adjusted their schedule without any hiccups, things have definitely improved significantly at the station in my opinion.
42k watching Sky News on You Tube….GB News 2k
TalkTV in minus figures I presume then

I wonder what slot Dorries will get on GB News once her flame Boris goes?

That's before Piers Morgan though!
During Piers Morgan's show, he has 1k on his Uncensored YouTube channel and 2k on the main TalkTV channel.

Farage on GBN has 4k to his specific live show feed and 2.8k to the main GBN live stream.

To the credit of GB News, you can see why Farage is getting credible figures for an opinion led channel. The interview with Liam Fox was excellent with none of the sensationalist nonsense I saw from Dewbs earlier with her panel shouting over each other.
When did Mark Longhurst join GB News?

He was on as a guest earlier and captioned as 'GB News presenter'.
As seen on BBC Newswatch

Dehenna Davison was busy, as well as co-interviewing Mark Longhurst, she then went up to Barnsley to do Question Time.

How lovely to see Mark Longhurst back on TV, after all these years! Having said that, it was very strange to see a sitting MP in Dehenna Davison interviewing him - shouldn't it really have been the other way round? Anyway, fantastic to see him back - hopefully we'll see much more of him in the coming weeks. (He was on again this afternoon with Alastair, btw).

As for the rest of the coverage... I saw a bit of Mercy Muroki and some other lady (Tonia Buxton?) on this morning, neither of whom are journalists, to my knowledge, and later in the afternoon Esther McVey hosted. All seems a bit ramshackle, doesn't it? And surely it shouldn't be allowed to have sitting Tory MPs cover their own party leader resigning? I'm sure that's supposed to be a big no-no, Ofcom-wise. But what do I know...

Farage is actually a very good presenter, of course his career as a Eurosceptic politician means he comes with baggage but he doesn't get enough credit for his abilities to anchor these sort of shows.

The only time Davison and McVey will have to take time off from GB News is during a general election campaign. Farage had to do it when he worked on LBC during the European Parliamentary election. George Galloway would also take time off when he worked on talkSPORT/Radio also.

It wasn’t Tonia Buxton, it was former F1 host Bev Turner
