"From today you'll hear some new voices when you're watching UTV, as for the time being we're handing over to our colleagues at ITV, but rest assured Julian and I will be back with you as soon as possible"

As if there's not enough bad news in the world!
"Good evening. Dull, grey, cold, miserable - and that's just me. The weather hasn't been great, either."
I see he got his viral moment yesterday with the lazy question of choice now by a certain section of journalists wanting to provoke a reaction, completely throwing his interviewee under the bus to get it.

Will The Talk pop up at 10pm, like it did on the day of the vote of no confidence - presumably people already there/on the way as it was due on at 9pm.
The News Desk gets a bit of an exclusive:

Schedule shows The Talk at 10pm & Daisy McAndrew at 11pm.
I think Talk TV's Piers Morgan Uncensored broke the news of the later resignations and new appointments first before any of the other news stations. As I was flicking back & forth between the channels.

I was watching all four channels in a quad split - with the sound off mostly as I was trying to concentrate on something else - but to me it appeared that Sky broke the new Health Sec news first and that Sky and Talk were roughly at the same time on the new Chancellor news. The BBC were still saying that the new Health Sec was unconfirmed about fifteen minutes after Sky broke it - which I thought was quite strange.
TalkTV helicopter being sent out tonight. Does NewsUK have different helicopters or are they all the same?

I doubt it'll be their helicopter, probably just hiring one in like the other broadcasters do.

What exactly is the point of having a helicopter out for the programme, what exactly is it going to add? It's an obsession that Sky and to a lesser extent the BBC got rid of a long while ago. I remember the days after the 2010 election they had them up constantly over Westminster and their noise ruined the audio of everything happening in the ground,

As the Inspector says they don't have their own helicopters, they're almost always from A2B Heli Charters (who fly from Redhill, and bought assets from the defunct Arena Aviation) or from Flying TV (who fly from Denham). I've often seen G-INTV and others flying for different broadcasters on the same day.

And as if on-cue, Flying TV's G-PIXL is heading towards central London.
According to the schedule, SIX hours of Piers Morgan from 4 to 10.

Indeed, he's on currently from the Ealing studio.

However, the programme isn't branded 'Piers Morgan Uncensored' on-air at all, instead the titles just played were branded 'Talk-TV Logo, BORIS RESIGNS'

How does the syndication work when they extend the programme like this? Do the other markets just get a specific hour of the long show, or do they not air the programme at all?
Also I've noticed they've started using TalkTV logos on the set, which is weird if they're still airing the programme in other markets.
