Surprised they only just started using this view as they are located in that new Hudson Yards development along the Hudson River. Seems as though they are stood in area just above the Edge visitors level just to the right of the staircase. There is a restaurant/bar there.

I may be late to this party but how does one receive CNNI on linear UK TV platforms now? I notice that it has been withdrawn from the freesat EPG and Virgin TV.

- The annoying ''Big Lie'' phrase, used for Trump's post election tantrums, is not to be used by anchors anymore (How will Acosta survive??? )

You can watch CNN International for free on Rakuten TV which is available on Roku and several Smart TV platforms. If you have an LG TV it's in the LG Channels app as Rakuten provides the channels.

Not quite a linear experience, but CNNI - as well as some other news outlets - is included in the Samsung TV Plus app which you can download on most Samsung mobiles and tablets.  This supports Chromecast so you can then stream those channels on your normal telly if you have a Chromecast, which are pretty cheap and well worth especially if you don't have a connected TV.

So if one has an 'expired' Sky card due to converting to the former service Freesat from Sky, it is still viewable?  I noticed too that CNNI seems to have been withdrawn from several FTA satellites across Europe too.

No need for any sort of card - it is a free to air channel on satellite - just not on the Freesat EPG.

Interesting tidbit about Licht's desire to invest in International channels. In article posted on TVNEWSER, it was indicated that he wants to do this.

The article mentioned highlights of a Bloomberg report. So maybe we will see the reversal of Zuckers hollowing out of Intl. Not sure what CNN Espanol looks like as I dont speak spanish. I wonder if that channel was also dis-invested.

The report about increasing investment in international offerings is interesting, especially considering the network has lost multiple foreign-based anchors and correspondents in recent weeks.

Why is it annoying?  It was a big lie, it still is a big lie.  I honestly think that this is trying to avoid calling a spade a spade, which is not something that a news network should be doing.  It sounds like they're afraid to deal with the facts, and again, a news network should never be afraid to deal with the actual facts.

We're going back to this stupid idea of being objective for the sake of it, and that frankly is an insult to viewers.  I don't see this working out well in terms of viewing figures.

Do find a bit weird that despite showing it live in the early hours this morning that CNN feel like they need to repeat the Juneteenth concert in place of Amanpour and CNN Newsroom and also pushing back Quest Means Business by an hour when all the markets have closed.

This channel feels abandoned! Abandoned by its star anchors, reporters, people in charge... if there's anyone in charge at all.

The new CNN Breaking News policy is working well on days like today. When the Roe V Wade news came out at 3:10pm UK time, CNN used Breaking News slogans and music on all shows until The Lead when they stopped it and you even had Wolf not need to do his dramatic HAPPENING NOW... BREAKING NEWS.. intro on every opening he used to do. Can imagine we would have had "BREAKING NEWS" for the next few days under the old policy.
