According to Digiguide, the BBC's Wimbledon schedules will be slightly different this year. With coverage starting on BBC Two most days and BBC One joining from 13:45 to 18:00 as usual, coverage will switch from BBC Two to BBC One each evening at 19:00 with The One Show and EastEnders moving to BBC Two.
I'm surprised they're not putting the coverage from Birmingham on the red button once Queen's has been picked up by BBC Two this week; having the first hour of Queen's only on the red button has never made any sense.

Interesting change (surely Wimbledon deserves it's own thread), but will make things slightly easier for the evening switcheroos. Hope it's through till 9pm rather than expecting viewers to channel hop every hour from 6pm, and perhaps tests the waters for Wimbledon to have an evening session in the years ahead.
Just a shame they've not addressed the start of play issue, especially now Centre Court is 1.30pm I think. They won't think twice about reducing the lunchtime news during the World Cup so just cutting putting the regional news at 1.20pm for the fortnight would be fine.

Anyone know if the updated graphics debuting with Wimbledon coverage this year, will make its way to the BBC Sport updates on the BBC News Channel/World News?

I was hoping EastEnders would get another weekly box set on iPlayer during Wimbledon, but moving across the 7-8pm block on BBC One to Two resolves that issue.

They might as well just put the tennis on BBC One, as it immediately circumvents a ton of scheduling headaches, switched programmes and screwed up recordings.
With Emma Radacanu as well as Andy Murray to cater for, it's a logical option to switch everything across now rather than later.
Of course this also leaves an option to move the Six to BBC Two depending on which game takes priority and then get the regional news out on BBC One when possible.
Probably makes sense as they usually end up switching to BBC One at least 2-3 evenings out of the fortnight. Though ironically this year that may not have been the case with Murray and Raducanu struggling with injuries.

Stupid question alert as I never really used DTT at the time as we had Sky...
But you know that bats**t era where they'd still move the 6:30 regional news to BBC Two despite it not possible to show on DSAT, were other digital platforms - eg. DTT and cable - affected?

For me it would make sense for Sue not to come in until Centre/Court 1 open up for business and be based mainly courtside, with the secondary host doing the early part of the coverage and any coverage away from the show courts. I guess next year they could do that and then have Clare as the main host and also doing the highlights, which in reality is often just covering the late match on Centre/Court 1.

I'm looking forward to the first trail which I'm assuming will be starting imminently given we're now less than 2 weeks out.
I strongly suspect we'll be seeing some Sport icon goodness (and not just on the end board)

Look like BBC1 evening coverage in the first week will be 7-8.30, so presumably Today at Wimbledon is scheduled on BBC2 from 8.30-9.30. Probably a week of Garden Rescue and Repair Shop filler then in the 8.30pm slot.
