Oh there is wooden flooring under the main screen, that's my theory of the single platform trying to look separate out of the window.

Studio needs a darker lighting effect for the 10 - more blues and purples (like the newsroom was in E)

A new visual wipe between the headline items. The titles feel different too.

felt shorter but not really punchier, i couldnt time it though

The titles have more of an interlaced 50fps look to them, but maybe that's just because they've been sped up!

Not a big fan of all the pointing and touch screen. Not really necessary.

Well this is all very different. Huw touching the screens rather than reading from an autocue. Will be interesting to see how certain other presenters adjust to this new style.

I've also not been fond of the continents clipping through each other in the titles, thought I should mention

But really, now should've been a time for a proper makeover more aligned with the rest of the BBC.

I don't like that it is the main presenter pressing the screen. They need someone else doing it. i.e whoever produced the report.
