On Newswatch, a “great supporter of the monarchy” complains the simulcast across all channels “undermines the feelings towards the monarchy” and so much of the coverage was in the “fawning” “black and white style of the 50s”. Another viewer is dissatisfied with other news stories were not covered, saying “the only thing that was news was the weather”.
