I'm on Andover Radio every Saturday afternoon from 4pm-6pm. Follow me on Twitter.

Result was around 2100 with TM - expect some schedule shuffling on BBC One later.

Obviously depends which way it goes and how quick the process is. ITV only have Long Lost Family at 9pm which can easily be rescheduled so I would hope if the result is expected around then News at Ten goes on air an hour early given how central ITV News have been to the story.

I’m guessing that Corrie will be pushed back to 9PM

Watching Sky at the moment and they're comparing previous Tory leadership contests with this one.

I think if he fails to get the support of 75% or more of his MPs, the channels may devote the 9-10pm hour to the story.

Would be interesting to see clips of how the Thatcher and Major results were announced - guess back then it would have just been a newsflash with viewers advised to watch the next bulletin for more?

History suggests regardless of the result tonight it will not be the end of the story.

That was a wonderful moment when Victoria Derbyshire forgot her PIN to her phone, tried ad libbing and then told Damian Gramaticas to hold her brolly. He then took over and explained what she wanted to. Classic Blooper and really quite funny. She is a pro!

Victoria Derbyshire's umbrella still has the old BBC News logo.

Now that I think about it today is also Dan Walker's first day on 5 News......well with today's big news, what a way to start

I wonder what TalkTV will plan to do? Keep Piers on air to cover the result (if indeed it is expected on/after 9pm), or keep with The Talk.

This is kind of when the syndicated nature of the show doesn't help it...

But it still keeps off the rain.  Big Grin

The only issue with doing a running live broadcast from College Green is that it attracts an ever increasing number of 'attention-seekers'.  I may have many 'sins to repent' to some imaginary being, but it's not relevant to this news story. Blush

It looks as though the BBC are using two cameras for their OB, so I wonder how easy it would be to just keep moving around to show a different background shot.

I notice that VD still keeps referring to 'BBC World', 14 years after the name change. Tongue

So would todays huge news day be a good time to launch Studio B?

Steve the Brexit legend was asked nicely to move out of shot by Victoria and she promised she'd ask him a question later on - he politely obliged. Jacob Rees Mogg then showed up an hour later and referred to Steve as Victoria's. best friend. The hilarity of it all.

Piers is on from 8pm-10pm tonight.

Jayne Secker took over at 12 for Sky News, also outside Number 10.
