TV Live Forum Welcome back
For those of you wondering why access to the Gallery and Requests has been restricted...

The Gallery is free-to-view, but you must have 30 posts to post there.

The Requests forum is hidden to all users, and you need 30 posts to gain access.

These guidelines have been in place since the forum opened, and were relaxed slightly when the forum software was changed. Now things have bedded in, the restrictions have returned.

Did the Founder Member stuff get removed? Noticed that it doesn't show up on anyone's profiles who had it and I can't find it on mine either.  Huh

Looks like you fixed it Rob – though interestingly I see David Whitfield as a founder member but NOT as a moderator, and I'd say the latter was more important.

That should be fixed now. Smile

Not everybody seems to have their founder member tag back. If I go on my profile all I can see is a big fat zero where my tag would have been.
If I look at the member list there's large chunks of the membership who joined prior to TV Forum shutting had the Founder Member tag.

Even TV Forum owner Asa has lost his TV Forum tag!

I am aware of that. I will try and restore everyone who has lost their appropriate tags later this week.

Still unable to see pictures or anyone else's avatar except Rob's. I have got the correct box ticked in the User CP.

Are they even really necessary?

Nice to see this place slowly but surely finding it's identity again, and as frustrating as the last few weeks have been for Rob the change in the forum software does seem to have seen a number of small but significant improvements to how it all runs from a user perspective at least.
@Brekkietweets
I never said they were necessary, I just said they were missing. Smile

At least nobody's complaining about being logged in as someone else now.

As for the TVF tag, Rob must think it's necessary, or he wouldn't have done it in the first place.
There were advantages to being logged as someone else.

I could briefly pretend my posts were actually interesting!

Everybody's posts are interesting in their own ways. Whether they were made by you, I, Lord Lucan or Shergar.

The tag was introduced as a token of my appreciation to Asa and the team for all the work they put into TVF. That was one of the things I wanted to honour from the start. Those tags will return early next week, as will all Verified tags. I still have access to the old forum database so I will be able to glean all the information I need to make the changes.
