Launch TalkTV
I see Piers is going to use the vegan fast food card tonight!
This is really boring.

2.6k on YouTube, so down 50+%?

You could easily have a drinking game based on this show and get drunk within 5 minutes,
One thing I will say is that the camera movement during the Twitter rant was a bit too excessive - I know he's reading it, but if you're reading off screen it might be better slightly slowed down.

I dare say by calling themselves Talk TV it means they can more easily say that programmes such as Pier's are primarily 'talk' (or shout) programmes, as opposed to a channel that has News in it's name.  It may also help that most of the day it's essentially Talk Radio, which has already been in existence for several years.
I think also Murdoch is a known quantity and as much as he is criticised for his papers and Fox News he also guided the much respected Sky News for three decades or so.

In addition Talk TV hasn't been making false promises and tried to find an audience by slagging off their competitors and making ludicrous claims about offering balance or serving those outside the"London elite"

Piers mentioned the show was on air in 4 countries last night, with US and Australia being 2 and 3. Do we know who the 4th is?

Canada?
They really are experts at stretching out the thinnest content into the maximum amount of time. That is a skill.

Your bingo card would only need the word 'woke' on it, too. He said it so much I tuned out.

Flashing up positive praise for his show from The Times and The Sun without disclosing they are News UK publications also felt dishonest.

That bit was so self indulgent, I know Piers isn't exactly humble but cherry picking the praise and criticism isn't a good look.

Rushing Kate back to the News Building (on a motorbike they said) from her earlier post outside Downing Street feels a bit pointless for the 3 minutes of debate/discussion they've just managed. Not even mentioning the other 2 coming in especially.

When she was at Westminster and then in the studio on Monday, I thought using the Jubilee line would be sufficient time for her to get back to London Bridge.

The Jubilee Line at peak time is not the best of ideas even if it's only a few stops away.
Intrigued as to who holiday cover will be given Piers took a lot of time off at GMB. Osborne? Kyle? Ditto for The News Desk.

It's almost like a significant number of the team worked on breakfast TV...  Big Grin

My guess is Kate McCann will dep for Tom.

As for the Morgan show, considering it's for three international markets, I think they'll give it a break when he's off and extend either The News Desk or The Talk to two hours.
