Morgan needs to find some new material - this might play well on the Fox News version (where they seem to obsess over the royals more than we do) but it's just boring

I noticed parts of the Trump interview referenced Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi and Stacey Abrams - presumably left in mainly for the benefit of the US audience.

I’m not condoning what happened on The Jeremy Kyle Show, and I’m glad it was cancelled. However, it’s nice to see Jeremy back on TV.

I like the desk, something that Loose Women could upgrade to in the future.

This would’ve benefited from a physical set though a la The View.

So we basically got three UK versions of Fox News shows.

The Talk - The Five.

How come that Piers is the only one to get the proper studio? Can't these 3 shows come from that space, rather than these CSO setups? Seems a waste of a studio.

Within 15 seconds of switching Piers Morgan on, I'd heard a rant about 'big tech' 'suppressing' a 'scandal' that might have 'helped Donald Trump win the 2020 election'.

As interesting as I find TV presentation, I have my limits.

The good: The News Desk had more news in the first 15 minutes than GB News had in its first month.

The bad: Selectively geoblocking Piers Morgan's show but available for the rest of the channel schedule?

The ugly: If they wanted an exclusive, they just had to ask James Slack (a member of the news panel tonight, former No. 10 comms director and now The Sun's deputy editor) about partygate...it was his leaving do that happened in Downing Street on the night before Prince Phillip's funeral.

"And moving onto tonight's top story. James, how many suitcases full of wine from the Co-op does it take to lighten the mood during a period of national mourning?"

I've never liked The Jeremy Kyle Show but Jeremy was always a solid broadcaster back in the Confessions days.

The standard and production quality is streets ahead of GB News. Whatever you think of Rupert Murdoch, he at least doesn't cut corners and has high production values.

That green screen studio does need some work though. Quite a few green halos around the guests.

I can't see both GB News and TalkTV surviving together. One will end up closing I suspect. Probably the former.
