Less coverage on the US news channels than I'd have expected, given American interest in the royal family. CNN US, MSNBC and Fox News are all covering domestic political stories right now.
Channel 4 is being the alternate and is back to normal programming. With no on screen notification.
Channel 5 has a black banner along the top during Sian Williams presented programme about the Royals.

BBC local radio (Sussex) did a proper hand over to the BBC newsroom for an important announcement. Surprisingly radio 2 and lots other just crashed to silence before the official announcement. Think radio 1 had the worst crash out. How did local radio have a heads up and national didn’t?
Radio 2 was a bit odd.. Vanessa Feltz was asking for phone calls on an unrelated topic when she was cut off. This was 5 minutes after the News channel had already announced his death.. is the first part of her programme pre-recorded or something?
CNN's coverage quite disjointed. New Day seems to be leading the coverage but it took a break - and then it comes back with Becky Anderson anchoring CNN Intl coverage. I imagine it was because New Day was going to cover different stories for their US audience, but still it is odd and lacking consistency.
