Absolutely loving the sounds of the crickets, definitely makes you think of summer 8-)

I love those summer idents, beautiful scenery, simple and well crafted with a lovely soundtrack. They remind me a bit of the old Sky 1, 2, 3 idents with the numeral cubes having their own colours and different animations.

Sky Italia has confirmed and announced the launch of Sky Investigation (same as Sky Witness in the UK), Sky Documentaries , Sky Nature, and Sky Italia's exclusive Sky Serie (for general TV series) , for the 1st of July.
Sky Serie Will take current Fox EPG place on 112, Sky Investigation on 114 (ex Fox Life's place), Fox will take current Fox Crime's place on 116, with Fox Crime shutting down on the same day.
So, Fox Italia will remain, although on a less important EPG slot, until it'll close down next year (very very likely).
In the case you're wondering, this is how Sky Serie (since in Italy Sky Uno Is a lifestyle channel), will look like

It is really great to see Sky Italia is now keeping in touch with the rest of the Sky pay-tv operations in the UK and Germany. I wonder if Sky TG24 (the last holdover of the second generation Sky global branding) will also rebrand on July 1.
Anyway, moving to other news... In Poland, if you thought the TVP rebrand was going to be the biggest TV rebrand in Poland this year, fear not. This morning, the Cyfrowy Polsat group announced a major rebrand, renaming itself to Grupa Polsat Plus, referring to its core brands: the Polsat TV network, the Cyfrowy Polsat satellite TV service and the Plus telecom operator. As part of the rebrand, the Cyfrowy Polsat and TV Polsat brands will be unified into a single Polsat brand, and both operators will also adopt new logos, both having a radical departure on their former logos (including the 2006 Polsat logo designed by velvet mediendesign, which has survived for almost 15 straight years and two graphics packages). The corporate rebrand was adopted today, but the individual rebrands of the Polsat TV networks is still TBA.
(EDIT) Some of the possible network logos have been registered in the Polish IP office. So far, only logos for Polsat, Polsat 2, Polsat Café, Polsat Rodzina, Polsat Film, Polsat News, Polsat Sport and Polsat Games have been registered. There is also a logo for a so-called Polsat Box, which likely refers to the STB used by Cyfrowy Polsat's current 4K offer (currently named EVOBOX) and iPolsat, which might be the new name for their mixed AVOD/SVOD streaming service Ipla.

I am afraid this is not the case. That "new" TVP logo was actually a prototype logo developed by the design team at TVP so they could offer a presentation on the new logo during the TVP 2021 upfront conference. There are no plans to replace the 2003 logo, actually, the TVP1 and TVP2 logos are only being recoloured to fit the new look, as seen on the TVP new year's special; the only new logo to be launched with this rebrand will be the TVP Sport logo, which is totally new. Moreover, very recently, TVP ABC (the equivalent to CBeebies) rebranded as part of this new branding strategy.

By the way, the TVP Sport rebrand was introduced today in time for Euro 2020:

It looks like this will be a very messy rebrand.

WIN Network in Australia has launched a promo announce that Nine Network will move to this network from July

WIN Network in Australia has launched a promo announce that Nine Network will move to this network from July
It looks like they are reversing the 2016 affiliation swap made after WIN lost a lawsuit which criticised Nine of violating their affiliation contract by streaming the core Nine service in their regions thru its 9Now service. This resulted on WIN promptly switching to Network 10 as regional affiliate, and caused Nine to sign, by default, an affiliation with Southern Cross Austereo to switch their former Network 10 affiliates to Nine.

Not quite - Nine signed with SCA leaving WIN forced to switch to affiliating with 10, the less profitable of the two channels. The reverse has happened this time but controversially WIN is now axing their regional news output in favour of statewide editions, which is what Nine had with SCA over the last year. It is expected SCA will do minimal regional news on 10.
P.S. The TV Forum thread from 5 years ago when everything happened in reverse and similar promos were made.
@Brekkietweets
Seems like they're going to use Nine's metro/network feed in terms of presentation/branding, apart from a few WIN Network sponsorship bumpers and idents in the breaks. (Similar to UTV and ITV currently) Which is the opposite compared to the arrangement before where WIN tried to cover up as much of the Nine branding as possible.
apart from their version of Nine's OSP

Last Monday, the big group-wide RTL rebrand was unveiled in a virtual presentation in the Screendays Europe conference. The new look will be adopted by all RTL-branded stations Europe-wide, and was developed under the coordination of its German division Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland. The redesign was developed by British agency AKQA, and involves redesigning the legendary RTL logo made by Novocom, by dropping the blue-red-yellow colors in favour of a more varied palette, separating the boxes and making the lettering much finer. The Germanized logo will be adopted by all RTL brands across Europe by autumn, beginning in Germany (already all of RTL's subsidiaries Europe-wide bar RTL Nederland use the logo, this will mean the brand system developed by Mark Porter will be dropped after the new system goes on-air); additionally, all of RTL's streaming/catch-up services will be unified under the RTL+ brand.

RTL9 is no longer owned by RTL, so I presume that this rebrand will leave that channel out

I really like this change to the colours. Gives RTL some much needed colour and it reminds me of 2013-2019 ITV
