Did The One Show welcome viewers in Scotland?

Yes, but Scotland were 10 seconds late, so the welcome was missed, and the names of Elton John and Ed Sheeran were also just missed.

I'd love to know who filmed it.. Nicola was out of focus for it all.
Obviously guidance changed today but did the SNP get the 7pm slot last night as well which saw Keir Starmer get the slot in England and Mark Drakeford in Wales?

I didn't see it but Keir Starmer was scheduled in Scotland
Looks like today's press conference is apparently scheduled for 7pm. Wonder if that means the One Show will get bumped over to BBC Two, given that it is due to be given by Boris.
Formerly 'Charlie Wells' of TVForum.
I think even Boris ones recently have been news channel only.

This one feels slightly more of a 'moment' though.
Exactly the right call from the BBC to not show it on BBC One, if indeed they even considered it. We’re now hopefully completely done with that sort of thing going on the main channel now, at least in terms of Covid.
They seem to be more for show than for information nowadays. If anything was to be carried on BBC1 it probably should have been the statement to Parliament at around 4.30pm.

Considering it may be the last ever one, I’m surprised they didn’t put it on BBC One
I think we've had more "last ever" briefings than we've had "last ever" Attenborough series.

I think whichever way things go it won't be the last one - they seem to like doing them anyway as arguably given the Parliament statement this one wasn't required. Let's just hope given events as they are at the moment they don't need to be used for something even more serious than a global pandemic.

I would have thought you of all people would prefer a briefing with Whitty and Valance giving their take, rather than just the PM making a statement.

We’ve never got to the stage where all legal restrictions are going to expire

They've had more comebacks than Frank Sinatra.
As seen on BBC Newswatch
Surprised it didn't air on one

The last official Attenborough series was " Life in Cold Blood" in 2008, the last of the " Life" series where he wrote, produced and sometimes directed the series.

Everything since then has been occasional presenting on location or narration. It isn't his work .There is a big difference
