What is the point of sticking Line Of Duty in a category if they're going to give it their Special Recognition award?!

The Special Recognition Award was a little disappointing IMHO. Is this the first time it's gone to a whole programme rather than an individual?

With regards to the best presenter awards, there are times where pictures speak louder than words.

I must be misremembering but I thought it went to Paul because of his work on FTLOD. It'll be a shame if they're going to start giving the award to programmes instead of people. Kind of defeats the point of all the other awards.

Do they not usually have a moment of reflection for people we’ve lost from TV, or was that just for special mentions, such as Sir Brucie and Anne Kirkbride?

I have various TV Times from the early eighties and when they solicit votes for the awards, which were very much the equivalent of these, it said there were various people - I remember Eammon Andrews, Violet Carson and Benny Hill - already in the TV Times Hall of Fame so they were ineligible. But that didn't stop Wogan winning the Best Presenter for a decade on the trot, and doubtless he would have carried on doing it but the awards came to an end. It's only supposed to be a bit of fun, though.

I noticed last night that ITV didn't have the 'LIVE' DOG in the corner of the NTAs that they usually have on live programming. I'm not aware of any broadcast delay on the show though.
