New Forum - TVTalk
#1
Following some other members recommendations, I have started this thread. Apologies if it is against the rules to start the thread.

Thanks to those who have voted in the Poll, for now there will still be a wix ad on the site but it should (hopefully!) be gone soon.

Thanks for starting this thread, it will be a helpful pointer to visitors once everything is archived.

Posting has now been re-enabled on the site.
Topics have been created with the same topics as the first 2 pages of each category here, with links to the TVLF page. More improvements will be made before Sunday when TVLF closes.

We're also planning to convert TVTalk to myBB (the software TVLF runs on) once we buy a proper domain name.
Wonderfully weird.

Indeed, once the domain name is bought I will begin converting it to myBB, which should be done by September ready for a relaunch.

To confirm,
The forum will stay on Wix until the beginning of September. At which point it will move onto MyBB on a brand new customized forum.
Thank you to 75 members who have already registered! I hope many more of you will travel over.

Introducing TV Talk Forum

A little bit of exciting news already and we haven't even properly begun! The teams behind Box Forum and TV Talk have agreed to work together to bring you TV Talk Forum.

Chris & Peter will be administering the site along with Allan & Nancer as moderators. As a team we are super excited to continue your television presentation discussion journey with us.

You'll now find https://www.tvtalkforum.co.uk/ has gone live.

Box Forum - When heading to Box Forum you'll simply be redirected. If you signed up to Box Forum, everything stays the same and your login details will work above.

TV Talk - If you signed up for TV Talk, you'll need to register on the new site.

Whilst it's obvious that some users will become fractured and fine new places to visit, our aim is simple - to provide a continuity of service, to allow all users to continue their discussions.

We also encourage others who have already or intend to launch new forums as replacements to get in touch with us, as we would love to welcome you on board.

We hope that you join us #joinus #tvtalkforum

I'll take the site down in about a week, the entire forum is moving onto the new site.

I have already joined the forum and look forward to seeing where it goes but I don't appreciate (and I'm sure many others don't either, for that matter) getting canvassing PMs asking me to join the forum. If people want to join the forum then they should do so on their own accord!
They're both women and that trumps regionality; ITV guidelines
