Funnily enough Vice's founder Shane Smith said back in the day, when answering the question on what he would do if he could run the BBC, his answer was ''I'd reopen BBC3 as a TV channel'' because he believes that there is still a lot of potential in linear broadcasting, so now that BBC3 is actually coming back, this channel is closing alongside BET
