Noticed I think a change to the BBC Sounds website that when loading the player the screen animates via the orange fade like below, a background similar to those used on the TV adverts etc.

The new 2021 Radio 1Xtra logo has been revealed for the first time in Legends Fall in the Making on 8th November, but they reads it as just Radio 1X, rather than 1Xtra. I wonder that if it also happens with Radio 4 Extra and Radio 5 Live Sports Extra's new logo.

The website link, when viewed on mobile, just has the 1X icon. When opening on desktop or in the BBC Sounds app, it has the full version.

So easy, in fact, it's already been in use for 10 years in the World Service language radio studios which are visualised for tv/web.

It then changed to ‘Radio 1Xtra’ as shown here -
It’s now changed again to the old ‘1X’ logo (but with the new BBC logo) - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0b2grxr
They seem to have absolutely no idea what branding should be used at the moment. The sooner this gradual change is over the better.

Just how BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra is just depicted as 5ex
