This is a thread to discuss BBC Scotland presentation following the launch of the new BBC logo. It will be open just before 6am on Wednesday, 20th October.

BBC Scotland still showing the old branding on “This is BBC Scotland”. I assume the new idents will come in at 7pm.

New idents will launch at 7pm. The sustaining feed will be updated before the channel ends at midnight.
I think the way that trailer ends, with the day/time above Scotland, is a better way to handle that, compared to what I’ve seen on One/Two.
BBC Scotland starts up in just over 20 minutes. Can’t wait to see the rebranded idents!

Well that is how they handle it as well but it is very much blink and you miss it.
Very nice. As others have been saying the BBC logo on top works the best when there's a central symbol, be it to 2 curves or the Scotland S
What is with that DOG? The old one looked fine, but now its all horizontal and bigger? Awful decision. FOUR's and ALBA's look worse though...

Well, at least the fast majority of the BBC's idents in recent years leading up to today's rebrand may have been designed to be optimized for that one rebranding!

Hehe, when I saw that I thought it was a jokey picture of an old ident with the bottom rubbed out with black marker pen to put the new logo on.... I've now seen the video and realised it's a rock!
I've just now noticed the symbol looks a lot like the Screen Gems logo, oddly enough...
