Who remembers the older BBC and UTV regional news programmes? I have been looking back on TV Ark and YouTube, and looking back at the classic era of Scene Around Six, Inside Ulster, Six Tonight and UTV Reports.
I have been looking back at the archives, and they all look better in style and substance than what is provided in 2021 on BBC and UTV, especially since the quality of UTV News have really taken a downhill slide since October 2016.

I really is a random lottery who we'll get doing the weather each weekend.
They really need a weekend/relief presenter to cover Louise Small when she's off during the week and to do weekends permanently. I can off the top of my head think of 2 very capable people....Julian & Gillian. No training costs required just get straight on with it!
