Also assuming they're paying by plastic/contactless it'll help to identify at least a couple of the protestors to the police and intelligence agencies. Hopefully the staff at ITN are safe, as I can't imagine it being a pleasant experience.

I think it's a mix of both;

It's not 'both' it'll be a combination of many 'issues'. These sort of protests are a group of angry people getting together to be angry at something. They're rarelyy focused

I wonder if there are plans in place for any of the evenings news programmes. Surely ITN must have back up if for some reason the protesters make their way further into the building.

It’ll be interesting to see how much prominence this gets on TV News. Nothing on the BBC, ITV or Ch4 news websites that I can see.
