Do Sky Sports News still have double headed presentation for most of the day? If so suspect that may be underthreat.

Yes, and almost certainly. It was surprising to see it return a few months ago.

Unrelated to these cutbacks.
Though he's leaving on his own steam as he has a new job to go to, as Director of Media Relations for FIFA at their Switzerland HQ.
I've noticed they've gone from two presenters to one on 'Good Morning Sports Fans', from today. Is this part of the changes or due to staff shortages? I've always liked seeing two presenters.
What’s the driving force behind these cutbacks, don’t really follow sport, is it a dip in subscribers, a cull of more expensive talent or something more political to balance gender / minority ethnic?
According to reports I've read, its due to the pandemic and the losses at Sky. I've seen many new faces on the news channel in recent weeks and lots of old faces seem to be the ones who are leaving...

I'd say over paying for the Premier League rights. We had similar cuts a few years back in rights especially when the current deal was signed, and Sky would have been hoping to retain the rights at a lower value this time around - but the PL used the pandemic to avoid that risk, knowing the rights value was likely to drop, and instead offered the existing broadcasters the chance to extend their rights another three years on the same terms. It meant they didn't risk losing the rights, but further squeezed their overall budget.

Good Morning Sports Fans is back to two presenters today. Hopefully was just a brief issue, rather than an indicator of a permanent change.
I noticed that this morning. I always have it on in the background, when I start work. I hope it's a permanent change and we don't go back to single-headed again. I liked the double-headed presentation at 8pm-Midnight, but they seem to have changed the shift patters on the channel since Jim White left and have reverted back to single.
