As with the funeral of Diana/Queen Mother, I wonder if the cameras will not be on the faces ofnthe Royal Family.

All of the Royal Correspondents are a part of the "Diplomatic and Royal Department", and there is an editor which leads that. Or at least there was until James Robbins' retirement towards the end of last year. I don't know what the plans are for that role now.

I notice that on Seven News and Nine News, the newsreaders were wearing black clothing, I assume that the protocol is the same for other countries in the Commonwealth.

There are calls for members of the public not to visit Windsor because there will be nothing to see, but as the news report shows on BBC News channel, people have travelled from afar to the train station. :?

Short of blocking off the town for an entire day, there's not much they can do.

I was considering going, but there's no way you'd be allowed to just line the streets as you'd be able to normally and they're saying all the streets leading to where there would be the procession have been blocked, so impossible to see anything anyway -even from a distance.
