SU2C returns tomorrow with Davina McCall, Adam Hills, Alan Carr and Maya Jama, along with Joe Lycett. Live from London - is it the Methodist Central Hall again?

It’s been a very slick programme so far, bar the dodgy link to Mr Motivator’s bedroom, but I think we’re all now accustomed to web calls on TV nowadays.
The set looks brilliant and grand for such a big event without relying on a lot of screens. It’s also good to see all presenters appear to be on throughout the evening and mixing up the pairings/appearances, rather than having their own sections then disappearing for the rest of the night.

Like with Comic Relief the prize draws are dubbed to include a "voluntary donation" which you can opt out of. Is there a legal reason why it can't be a compulsory donation to enter the draw. It's not like you'd go to a local charity event, buy a raffle ticket and then ask for the money back.

Gogglebox seems to have a unique sponsor for tonight’s SU2C special, which is shown surrounding the shows parts. But they’re not into ad breaks, it returns to the studio, who go to a break with a sponsor tag of their own!
No different to the cooking segment on This Morning being sponsored I guess

Anyone who replies CANCEL to the first bounce back message and thereby opts out of donating £10 in support of the Stand Up to Cancer campaign will still be entered into the Prize Draw subject to rule 9."
Almost certainly a consent or "distance selling protection" sort of thing. If you buy something off Amazon for example you can send it back within 14 days (or whatever), no questions asked, your dosh will be in your account in 5 days". None of that applies in a shop (or charity event come to that) so if you decide to lob £10 into a bucket somewhere and then change your mind, well you'll probably end up on a guilt trip first.

Oh wow. Is it a larger space nowadays? It does feel large on screen, that could be due to a smaller audience and the fact that they’re surrounding the set.

Looks like the whole thing is being shown as 1 episode on Sunday evening from 10:30pm anyway…
