And to start...
Frank Mitchell's last time watching the weather tomorrow on UTV Live.
Doubtless he'll get an on-screen tribute, but will it be to the same extent as what we've seen for Pam Royle, or John Shires and Gaynor Barnes this past week?

Also, sadly, Ken Reid's last day.

Frank said Louise will be doing the forecast 8 days a week. Does that mean she does Saturday and Sundays in vision?

Is there a new day of the week we haven't been told about?

Brief by circumstance - the network and its priorities, hey! - video of tonight's UTV Live report on Ken and Frank's departures.

...Looks like they got Tony Blair to provide his tribute to Ken Reid at the same time as the one he did for Tyne Tees' Pam Royle last week.
And listen out for those 'Ulster TV' and 'Ulster Television' mentions!

The utv weather played AFTER tonight‘s bulletin with a sombre link to the weather. I was hoping Paul Clark he would say that famous line. “ the local weather forecast is coming next”

A new voice doing the out of version weather forecast?, Daniel Crozier. has anyone heard of him?

Who remembers the older BBC and UTV regional news programmes? I have been looking back on TV Ark and YouTube, and looking back at the classic era of Scene Around Six, Inside Ulster, Six Tonight and UTV Reports.
I have been looking back at the archives, and they all look better in style and substance than what is provided in 2021 on BBC and UTV, especially since the quality of UTV News have really taken a downhill slide since October 2016.

I’ve been on tv ark too, I’ve been watching old utv live bulletins from the October 2004 look. I remember Paul and Kate

I really is a random lottery who we'll get doing the weather each weekend.
They really need a weekend/relief presenter to cover Louise Small when she's off during the week and to do weekends permanently. I can off the top of my head think of 2 very capable people....Julian & Gillian. No training costs required just get straight on with it!
