Jon Kay is replacing Dan Walker on BBC Breakfast effective immediately and Victoria Derbyshire is to become the new Joint Lead Presenter on Newsnight along with Kirsty Wark from September

I would have liked to have seen Ireland Correspondent Emma Vardy get a role on Newsnight as well, but considering she recently got married to a local man in Belfast, I don't think it would have been viable.
Victoria will do a decent job on Newsnight and has improved so much from when she had her own show on BBC Two a few years back.
