I’ve just flicked through every LIVE news channel in my region and ALL (without exception) carrying the news of Messrs Johnson and Sunak being fined for the so-called #Partygate scandal.
The first time in well over a month that another story has knocked Ukraine off the top spot, even here in the Middle East.
UK News Media appears to be having a field day. Cue Huw and Tom at Ten on College Green.........

Very unfortunate on BBC News just then, the daughter of a Covid victim in full flow talking about what she thinks of Johnson suddenly and without warning cutting to the countdown loop in order to eventually hit Ben Brown in Downing Street for the join with World.
It was just a cock-up but it was the sort of thing that usually generates a few conspiracy theories.

Ah, my fault for having it on in the background and listening more than watching - hearing someone being cut off mid-sentence is always one of those things that makes the ears prick up. Not as bad then, but it still wasn't great.

It looks like the first reports came shortly after the end of the regional lunchtime news on BBC1 and towards the end of the ITV lunchtime news.
It feels like too big a story to leave until the evening bulletins.

I have seen many which run into the £1,000s as they are on a sliding scale, so not as 'fixed' as the name implies. :o
