It's Aardman, of course it's not. Almost everything they do is fully done by hand.

Despite the fact that three of BBC Two's Christmas idents are now airing for the fourth year running, they still look as fresh and vibrant as when they first appeared. The entire ident package for the channel is magnificent. I'm also hoping we'll soon see some new non-Christmas additions in 2022.

Probably, yes. It would be nice to have it debut after the New Year's Hoopla, but realistically, I doubt it.

At a guess, I would say probably back to Oneness so they can launch the new look BBC ONE along with the News & Radio refresh at the same time. Just a guess though, I'd be just as surprised as anyone if they had the newly filmed idents ready to go on Saturday.

I think BBC One's Christmas 2021 idents have been excellent. The best they've had in a good while. We'll see it for the final time during the 11:25 junction this evening.
Given the lack of an official press release about any new BBC One idents (non-Christmas), it's inevitable that we'll still be seeing the old ones for a little while yet. At least we know that change is afoot, we just don't yet know quite when that'll happen.

I’m happy to be corrected here, but I don’t recall there being a press release or any media coverage in advance of the Oneness idents launching, so it’s possible we could get another surprise tomorrow. That said, I’m not holding my breath.

I can't believe that they wouldn't announce new BBC One idents in advance, given how much of a fanfare the BBC Media Centre gave the new BBC logo back in October.
I'm pretty sure it's back to One-ness after midnight tonight.

Yes - the first hint of Oneness came just a few hours before the idents launched.
I doubt we'll get them for the same reason we didn't get them in October, plus we'd have probably been tipped off by now.
