ITV News - soupie - 08-05-2021 A bit inconsistent as the late news just 3 weeks ago for the Duke’s funeral was branded NAT (despite being on at about 2230). Yeah, I recorded the weekend news at ten, but yt blocked it 2 weeks after ITV News - JakeTVFan - 09-05-2021 Can anyone please agree that the Late set is way better then the News at TEN set? The NAT Set now is too bright if I’m honest ITV News - CameronYoung - 09-05-2021 JakeTVFan post_id=11714 time=1620593497 user_id=1454 Wrote:Can anyone please agree that the Late set is way better then the News at TEN set? The NAT Set now is too bright if I’m honestIn what way? like do you love the late set to be The News at TEN Set again, or keep the News at TEN Set we have now? I say the late set needs to return, 2015 edition of it tho when it had 1 big pillar, and no pillar on right https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aq0awimKOx0 and they need more of the screens with the presenter presenting on it too, News at TEN Still does that but just on 2 screens. ITV News - chevron - 11-05-2021 I like News at Ten having some differentiation from the other bulletins - however, I agree the current set looks a bit too busy and brightly lit with the additional screens. It was nice to see the moody, subtle backdrop of Edinburgh behind Tom Bradby during last week's programmes. Made a nice change. Perhaps keeping the same basic set design but replacing the gallery backdrop with something less garish and more 'nighttime' might work for the Ten? ITV News - CameronYoung - 11-05-2021 I must be honest, I've never liked the 'gallery' background, I think mainly because it just looks dead. I think seeing people in the background, even if they're just silhouettes not doing much I think would just bring some life to it. I agree, I like NaT being seperated not just in the titles, music and format, but also in set design. Wasn't the whole point of the rebrand to make it different to everything else? I Think it was just to make News at TEN Its own programme again, like it was all the same just different titles and music, but i like the old 2015 edition then I do now. I'll be honest I hate the 2016 set and wish it never came. ITV News - JakeTVFan - 11-05-2021 How do you record late and lunchtime regional bulletins?they don’t get out on the website? Empty gallery sets have long been a virtual TV news oddity though which made little sense until March last year. ITV do use theres very well though with images changing for the story, although for the Prince Phillip newsflash that did act as a spoiler. ITV News - Markymark - 13-05-2021 Presumably for use mostly by GMB? https://www.tvbeurope.com/live-production/db-broadcast-delivers-new-green-machines-for-itv-daytime?amp&__twitter_impression=true ITV News - CameronYoung - 13-05-2021 Markymark post_id=12280 time=1620883472 user_id=1078 Wrote:Presumably for use mostly by GMB?Probably This Morning or Loose Women - GMB is ITV Breakfast. GMB has been ITV Daytime for quite a while now, I think the legal entity continues to mention 'Breakfast' in terms of the licence, but the business unit is ITV Daytime as a whole. Keeping that in mind, the cars are mostly used by GMB for live hits. Other shows can use them too though. ITV News - RDJ - 13-05-2021 Not wanting to contribute rota talk - but it’s quite out of the ordinary so I think it’s ok. Kylie Pentelow unusually is fronting today’s Lunchtime News. Could this be her first non-Weekend Network outing? ITV News - mccanmat - 13-05-2021 At least second as she was on the lunchtime news a few weeks ago- I also think Kylie might have presented evening news before. |
