I’m not sure a great deal of live networked programmes came out of Kirkstall Road even when they were at full swing

I’m not sure a great deal of live networked programmes came out of Kirkstall Road even when they were at full swing

The last one I remember was "Ask The Prime Minister" in 2000 - I know because I had to cobble together a live subtitling setup for them on the day for some reason in london.

That was made entirely on the outdoor set. I guess it might have come through Kirkstall's galleries though.

I remember it was mothballed but then it came back but what I can remember Calendar came from another building next door I think but since moved back but what about the other studios like studio 4 which I am once was the Price is Right.

It’s hard to say how busy they are these days.

I’m guessing Sangeeta Lal must be based in Leeds as she’s been the one and only studio contributor today and I’m sure she’s spoken about a different topic on each of the three bulletins.

This is all very impressive. I was thinking they might go with the generic ITV News look at ten to keep things simple, but they've gone all out with the ITV News at Ten studio backdrop, titles and music. They've even got the NaT specific reporter name captions that appear at the start of the reports.

Excellent work from ITV & ITN here. Most viewers wouldn't even notice any difference. And no technical hitches that I've noticed either. To put this together at such short notice, without impacting the quality of the programme is remarkable. Well done to all involved!
