I found this YouTube channel by chance and based on the "About" page it appears the person behind the channel works for/runs the company behind some of Fox's music and titles. She also has samples for other stations.

This is second rebranding of studios, Studio H has become W for Fox Weather.

Well, we were all wrong. That schedule holds true but no longer in the way we knew it.

The midday-3pm slot is now altering b/w automated maps and live cameras from EarthTV.

And... yes, at last, they manage to provide a ticker with scrolling forecasts, as should have been done since day 1! Even if it's limited to only this slot, it's a step in the right direction.

Kind of weird to not be on the air at those times, guess they'll have live people during severe weather. This also means the Weather Channel has live programming longer on weekdays than Fox Weather, but at least Fox Weather's off times are filled with Weather....

First time I've spotted a FNC staffer on Fox Weather. Carley Shimkus, who incidentally is replacing Jillian Mele on F&F First next week was reporting from Truist Park in Atlanta after the World Series Baseball is being played.

It had nothing to do with weather.

Lack of weather programming this Saturday night really made FW no different compared to TWC. Since 6pm ET, following six hours of automated "America's Weather Center," there have been only 3 hours devoted to forecast updates ("Night Light", 11pm & 1-3am ET). Kendall Smith anchored live segments at :15/:45 after each hour tonight throughout the block.

It's very hard to sit through these programming without a news ticker of sorts, unlike TWC.

Many people across the US are remembering WSB Anchor Jovita Moore a giant of Atlanta broadcasting, who died over the weekend. WSB is the #1 station in Atlanta and has been for decades. She had huge shoes to fill when the legendary Monica Pearson (Kaufman) retired ( Monica was amazing, plus being the 1st black woman to anchor news in the South was revolutionary in 1975 when the KKK was still marching thru the towns surrounding Atlanta. Sher retired from WSB in 2012 when Jovita took over.).

Jovita did a great job and for her to tragically die from brain cancer has hit the local news rooms across the US and especially the mass media of Atlanta pretty hard. She will be missed.

Terrible news for all of those working at WSB-TV. It is really sad to lose your main anchor in very tragic circumstances. May she rest in peace and condolences to all employees working at Cox Media Group.

Back to Fox "News", Fox & Friends (their morning show, which is/was the favourite show of the former U.S. President), and its preceding early breakfast slot, Fox & Friends First, have relaunched, ripping off Good Morning America and taking cues from their OTT graphics DNA. This coincides with Fox & Friends First replacing departing Jillian Meele with Carley Shimkus.

I managed to watch some of F&F First this morning. I've noticed they've done a Sky News by using the different Fox brands for their business and weather segments, with Janice Dean now using Fox Weather graphics on the main channel.

ABC News' main Washington bureau studio has been completely redesigned, taking cues from their videowall-driven Studio TV3 over in their Lincoln Square HQ. The set was created by ABC chief designer Seth Easter and debuted yesterday on This Week (with Martha Raddatz, as part of their weekly alternation with George Stephanopoulos over at NY). It replaces a "temporary" studio which debuted in May and which reused set pieces from their former set.

Personally, it really looks quite busy and really OTT, as the brand DNA over at ABC has been for many years since Ben Sherwood took over. However, the set looks a bit tamed down compared to Studio TV3, and, as a result, looks more polished, compared to the mismash of elements at Lincoln Square.

Well the ABC NEWS DC set itself isnt busy persay. It literally its basically 99% screens. Which is now the solution that many broadcasters are using because its a versatile solution for various programs and allows for completely different looks depending on the broadcast. ABC News graphics are the problem any they arent the best and are never subtle in any way. NBC News Nightly NEws takes the crown for subtlety for Network news graphics. Simple and clean (Not a fan of the NBC NN show open though).

ABC News needs to outsource their set design because the inside group that does their sets make them usually over busy and never look good. Prime example is the GMA set. OOOF!
