I guess international coverage will be very different to usual due to the travel restrictions requiring 10 days in quarantine with broadcasters having to anchor from their studios and rely on UK based reporters or relaying the BBC/ITV/Sky feed.

Is it part of the protocol to mention 'from London' when announcing the news? Or was this because of BBC World News opting into the feed.
I also believe Global Radio's news mentioned being 'from London' at points yesterday, so maybe there's more to it?

That's a bit of a shame, it was all available yesterday and fairly interesting, though all that basically happened (on the national networks at least) is that they switched to the obit programme at exactly 12:10:00, mid-song or mid-sentence. Adrian Chiles on 5 Live was the only one who was already reporting the news and had gone into an obit package which was cut off, there was no sense that any of the stations were given a heads-up about the exact timing of the switch. The exception was Radio 4, who were of course providing the obit programme, so they had a proper fade out of the programme in progress and an introduction from the continuity announcer.
The only other difference was Radio 1 Dance which, as a pop-up station, presumably needed a bit more manual intervention to switch and so joined late.

For historical purposes I hope they do get them uploaded, would be fascinating listening back in more detail.
The British Library have been recording all the main UK TV and radio news output (including BBC ONE, TWO, FOUR, Parliament, C4, Sky, Radios 1, 4, 5 Live, World Service, but NOT 2 or 3) for about a decade now. It's not (and may well never be) available online, but you can go along and pull it up on computer there.

I've always associated the line "This is BBC Television from London" as an "oh no, bad news" phrase, and that's it's point. It does have that gravitas.
