Oh my! How did you come across this? Id’ve thought the BBC wouldn’t have this just live for everyone to see but I guess it doesn’t give too much away other than the new logo of course.

Just makes you think - why are the letters sooo close to the edges. Where’s the spacing!? The new logo is just right.

So that SVG test site logo has 32px x 32px for each block, with 8px spacing between the 3 blocks.
Are the proportions different to that on the BBC News beta app? The letters look a tad bigger to me!?

Yeah, it's weird how MLN designed the logo so that BBC letters read like a single phrase. He must have forgot that it is normally styled as . B ... B ... C ., as if they are three wholly independent letters.

He designed something different. A logo where the letters were the important thing just contained in blocks. I get the impression that in this new logo it’s the blocks which are the main thing with the letters secondary.

The sub-menu for WorkLife looks amazing, especially in comparison to the current News one.
